WISDOM FROM THE HEADHUNTING CHAIR

Do not pay for resume review services ( plenty of free resources and most of you reading this are super smart and can create a great CV)

As a job seeker you should never pay a recruiter

If you have a close contact at a company use them to help you get interviews

A few nefarious recruiters will spray your CV all over Wall Street without your permission. It is advised to ask the following questions of your recruiter:

  1. How any placements has your recruiter made at the company they are representing.

  2. Ask who they deal with at the company they are representing.

  3. Ask how long the company they are representing has been their client.
