MARKET UPDATE

The hiring market continues to improve. We have had an increased number of mandates from bulge bracket banks at the Associate and VP level. This is a positive trend. Bulge bracket hiring at the junior level has been slow the last twelve months. M&A activity is up 17% this year. Barclays suggests that M&A activity will increase 15-20% over the next twelve months.

NEW HIRES

Solomon Partners has hired Derek Bentley to expand its infrastructure, power and renewables group. Solomon has made a number of strategic and effective senior level hired over the last 18 months.

TD Bank has hired defense banker Daniel Kerstein

DC Advisory has hired a pair of private credit bankers

Leerink has hired Tom Davidson from PJT Partners as Co-President
