MARKET UPDATE

There has been a noticeable pickup in recruiting the last few weeks. We are executing multiple job offers and getting new job requisitions. The activity is mostly coming from U.S. middle market platforms but we are seeing an uptick in activity at the bulge brackets and elite boutiques. The Associate and Vice President levels have been most active the last few weeks. We are seeing employed candidates be verbally assured of a full year bonus when moving and in some cases a guaranteed number is offered. Most of the guarantees are at the Managing Director level. If you are unemployed it is unlikely you will get a guarantee or full year bonus.
