MARKET UPDATE

The hiring market remains slow. Most of the hiring that is going on are replacements for staff who have left. It is taking weeks to get final approval for new or replacement headcount. In most cases investment banks are making due with current staffing levels. We project recruiting to remain slow through the Summer.

NEW HIRES

Lazard hired Adam Taetle from Evercore to lead its global consumer, retail and leisure group

Macquarie Capital hired Jason White and Matt Fiore into its Technology, Software and Services group. Mr. Fiore will cover cyber security. Mr. White will cover Mortgage Tech, PropTech and Data and Analytics
